      Did you make a User account during the install?

      Did you make a password to the root account?

      root = admin

      So at startup type in root as username , make sure its lowercase. And any password you gave it. You need to make a user account and use that instead. Only use root when needed. Unlike Windows when you need admin rights it just asks for the admin password.
