      Thumbs down Lindows 2.0.0 Can you help me

      Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the dual boot when this is run along side windows, there is no uninstall facility comes with Lindows. Also a word of warning do not install this software as it is full of bugs, didnt find my zip drive or Jaz drive and installed my SCSI cd rom 9 times. Any help would be much appreciated

      if you had installed the linux boot loader it must be removed first. pop in win 98 or win me start up floppy and boot the computer when it had finised booting into dos type fdisk/mbr this will remove the lilo/grub bootloader. now pop in the linux cd and use the formatting utility to remove linux partition. if u have partition magic u can use it to remove the linux partition

      Thanks for the info, partition magic didnt show anything, however reading your message did help when you mentioned MBR so I used another partioning tool which told me the MBR was unknown, changed it to standard and viola everything back to normal, thanks again for all your help
