Outlook 97

Need help with outlook 97
I was running the system and typing an email about an hours worth of work
The system locked up for some reason
Had to reboot but could do nothing about saving the email
Is there any possability that it is still on the drive somewhere
I know that word save files every 5 minutes ??
If in wrong forum sorry please move for me
oh where are the email stored on your drive C:\ ????
and what is the file exstension of them if any ????

first search for "outlook.pst";
then search for "scanpst.exe";
now start "scanpst.exe" > open the file "outlook.pst" > repair;
hope for no errors;
finaly open Outlook and look in "Drafts"

standard for auto safe is 10 min
