Star Office 6 & Mandrake 8.1 !!!

Hi ...
I've downloaded Star Office 6 final release and tried many times to install it on Mandrake 8.1 , but I had no success .

The package is intact and installed ok on Lindows , and my Mandrake installation is 2 days old , the installer starts and disappears after 1 second and I can't figure out the reason .... any ideas , please !!

The installer name ends with .bin , not tar or gz , and the OS identifies it as an executable , the glibc is installed and up to date also the development modules and libraries are installed .

The installer itself starts, but after showing the unpaking start it disappears completely .

Also, make SURE you change the properties of that bin to be eXecutable!!

The properties states that it is executable .
