Night out

Ted goes into the club on his own for a quiet drink and asks this man if he can sit next to him as its the only spare seat in the place. They soon get chatting and get rounds of beer a plenty brought over by the drinks waitress until both of them are merry to say the least. As the steward starts to chuck out, the man who gave Ted the seat stands up and says he will give Ted a lift home but he takes two paces and falls over and bursts his nose. Despite Teds advice he still insists on driving his new friend home and the man takes two steps outside the club and falls over again this time knocking out a tooth. As he is helped to his feet he still insists on driving his new friend home and he stumbles to the car. Having eventually given Ted a lift home he parks the car in his driveway, gets out of the car and falls over cutting his ear this time. He manages to put the key in the front door and get inside whereupon he takes two paces, falls over, hits the coffee table and cuts his head and passes out! The next morning his wife wakes him and says,
" You must have had too much to drink last night"
The man with the Bloody head,Broken tooth and torn ear said
"Darling whatever makes you think that"
"You came home without your wheelchair!" she replied
