      New dude needs advice

Hello all, nice to be here. Excuse me for writing this but I am really green to technology and althogh I use my pc for work I only do what I need to, ie spread sheets, estimates and Quotes. Now then we bought a new p4 machine, got the broadband and signed up to a movie and music download site thinking download a movie and burn it to dvd-r, seems simple enough, open Nero, decode, then burn except that after 1 hour of decode a message appears saying that I should load a CD-R/RW. Why should this be and also forgive me in saying that is a cd-r only 80mins long when a movie is longer.
PS does trojan keenval come as standard with these sites!
Can anyone explain in simple simple terms what I am doing wrong.
I have read some of your threads regarding this subject but at the moment can't relate to my problem
      Thanks A lot people
      Al

      Welcome..
I have to take what VIPER said one step more. In the future can you please take the time out to stick to the forum topic? It seems like this is happening a lot lately. New members aren't taking the time to post in the correct forum and not given another info,. It's better to give to much info then none at all. It just makes it easier for everyone and your more likely to get an answer to your problem.
I don't mean this as a rank on you I just think its a tip new members need to be reminded of once again.
