      Smile Hi All and Thanks

As a newbie to computing typing and dvding I would like to say thanks
to Laz for your "totally free and easy backup guide".
Within five hours I had made a perfectly good backup disc of my
favourite film, with only one problem when i discovered Burnatoce did not
      support dvd.
After consulting your forum I managed toget the 0.99 version and that
      did the trick.

      The system used was.

PC Medion Titanium MD8000 XL (ALDI) upgraded 1GB RAM.

Burner Medion MD2685 (ALDI) This is actually a Pioneer 106d.

I have only one question at this moment, for some reason I assumed
that I should use DVD-R, could I have used DVD+R media

      Glad it worked for you!

You can use dvd+r if your recorder supports it.
