      Hello folks

      My name is Thanh, i am german origin, adopted by vietnamese and now living in Bangkok, Thailand. Confused..?

      I came here after my good ol' Nero decided it needed "Burn Rights" to function, and that after i installed a beta of a service pack onto my XP pro machine..... and all available fixes failed to solve the issue.

      Now it IS solved by a simple update from Ahead's website (why on earth didn't i look THERE first???) Guess i couldn't see the forest for the trees......

      Well about myself, i'm 29 years old, used to work as a system admin (hardware guy here!!!) and i'm not really a geek. Therefor, win XP. And yes, i'm gay, staying with my thai boyfriend since some 3 1/2 years.

      My hobbies are CB radio, computers (hardware!!!), electronics and mobile phones m(hard- and software!). Beer isn't within my hobbies since i don't drink alc at all. And stopped smoking some 3 years ago. I love to mess around with my car (Volvo 460) and hit the keys on my synthesizer (Panasonic only... blame my boss, won't pay me enough for better gear!).

      Well, so much about me...... and now i got to fix another computer! MB fried.... got that bitch

      Hi again

      Yeah, i'm one of the many people from NFree.... name "Thanh" there, and just today put my 888 th post there

      Currently still working on that other PC, new MB is in, XP installed... but the b!tch makes me headaches too. Damn fully-integrated chipsets - can't reset him, he wouldn't start then. Have to press the power button for half hour to get him off and then reboot..... now online again to find a solution to THAT one

      My tip for anyone: Don't ever get mainboards with VGA, LAN, modem, sound etc all integrated. Nothing but trouble with those and their combined 117-in-1 drivers. On top of all that machine with it's 1.600 MHz p-IV and 256 MB DDR is way slower than THIS one, 1.000 MHz Duron, 768 MB SD, but nothing integrated. Even tough that one is a clean installed XP and mine already got all those 35 auto-starting proggies loaded!

      I wish a good day to all of you.... and special regards to Seb.... who are you in NFree? DId we have the pleasure together already? I am most active in DCT-4 and CDMA sections, recently not so much coz i was busy all the time
