      Hello all:)

Just picked up my dvd burner today. Was able to tell wife it would pay for itself when i make her a nice DVD libary. (Time to throw out are 5 year old VHS one ) After looking at all the programs out there I decided to do some looking around to see if I could do it for free. After reading a few how-to post in the forums here I finally got DVD shrink, decrypter and burnatonce.

Decided the first movie I would burn would be for the kid. So eveything went great burn DVD put in her DVD player first time and ran smooth just like a normal DVD

Second time threw it froze twice and i got EC 12 twice could it be my DVD-r choose or should I just clean out my DVD player.

      What burner, what media?

Some media are pretty good with all burners, some media give good results only in some burners, and some media are just plain awful in any.

More so than with CD-R, you really DO need to find a good match and stay with it - cheap media that you waste most of is false economy!

LUCKY! - those cleaning disks can kill or cure, though they seem to be a little less risky on readers than on writers, which tend to be more delicate.
