Hi
I have been trying to burn an XVid file onto a DVD using the steps provided in the tutorial. The video stream comes out fine (The full 155 minutes) but the audio stream is not extracted properly (only a few minutes...random frames). EVerything seems to be in order, except that the audio of the avi file is in PCM (not MP-3) format. Is that whats causing the problem? Please help

Rubric - what the hell is that ? A misspelled cube or something ?
@ahumay Extract the PCM audio out of the avi using VirtualDUB. Load in the avi, set Audio to Direct Stream Copy anf then in File, hit Save WAV. Convert that WAV to AC3 with ffMPEG (see the Tute on that) then author with coverted video in TMPGEnc as per the Tute.
