I have been mainly interested in home cinema for the last couple of years, ( DVD and 5.1 audio & all that). I'm still an amateur but compared to the wife I'm a genius in such feilds.
I have fits of interest with computing, brought about because I have to use one at work, (who does'nt these days).
I discovered CD ripping recently,(i know, im a late developer) and now I intend to get into DVD ripping. What a buzz it gives you to beat the system!!
When i,m not doing the above i find myself in the pub or cutting the grass, often in that order.

P.S Very grateful for the advice on DVD ripping,especially since I was asking about the software required for this and overlooked the fact that I should start with ditching Windows 98 SE as a starting point.

P.P.s
Have done some successfull copying using DVD player to DVD recorder with a special scart if anyone needs advice on such a thing.

Yeah, for ripping DVD U really need 2k or XP as 98 has file size limits
