      Noob here and to DVDR

      Hi Name is Rod.

As I said a noob to these forums and to DVDR. I bought a Pioneer DVR-106D last week.

I tried to backup Matrix Reloaded and Dreamcatcher this weekend and all files were ripped to my HDD with DVD Shrink but couldn't quite figure out how to get them to burn to a DVD. They are still on my HDD. I made no coasters!

I ordered DVD X Copy Gold and got a few ULEAD DVD Authoring titles with it for "free". I backedup an older DVD5 (?) of Nightmare Before Christmas last night and it is flawless "one2one" again (?) on the terminology. I hope to create some nice DVD's from Home video and the ULEAD software seems very nice for that and capturing video from my Radeon 9700 Pro AIW.

I will take a look around here at tutorials and such to try and figure it out. I may have questions and know I have come to the right place.

I build custom PC's and repair PC's as a hobby helps feed the hardware addiction. I built my own, my wife and kids PC's too. My rig - http://rdoenvironmental.com/DFI/lab1.htm

Is there a traders corner here? Of course I have lots of hardware that I have been saling/trading on PC forums for months now. Just wondering.

I design websites as well and have my own - http://pages.sbcglobal.net/spazmodic/ a little on me and my mass of poetry.

Anyway thanks for being here for me to find information.
