      What kind of Star Trek character are you?

      http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/st/quiz/crewman.shtml

      The first time, I ended up as Security officer

      By making the most obviously wrong choices... eg. I'll go out and .... AARGH!, or there's trouble, I'll stay at my console (the one normally manned by an important character) - you take the role of the guy who doesn't get to the final credits .... - and McCoy's best line, "He's dead, Jim"

      Got this:

      Engineering's your spiritual home.

      Sound technical thinking throughout, officer.

      A dazzling Starfleet career awaits you once you don the yellow shirt.

      Now, if you could just work on those social skills a bit more...

      It's nice to be important,but it's more important to be nice.....

      Every problem has a simple solution in your book - usually involving explosions and knives.

      You're blunt but effective, perfect for the blue shirt of a Security Chief.

      lol oh well !?

      These are kind of fun tests. At least I don't have to be a computer wizard to take them! I didn't really understand what I was answering in the Star Trek test though. I don't remember much of the show, and what I do is from the old ones. Anyone else know any fun tests?

      There are a TON more Star trek tests at the BBC site, though you DO have to be a real trekkie ... I got 100% on the EMH doctors test, and on the Games test. I can often identify an episode from the bit before the credits - though I'm not such an anorak that I can actually name it.

      BBC Cult is pretty good, loads of stuff on many programs, and if you search for screensaver, there are 1000's of hits, with savers for practically every BBC production.

      unfortunate you can't laugh about: here in Germany there are 4 guys which made new soundtracks (voices included) for a couple of episodes (Sinnlos im Weltraum); they talking in a weird german dialect (Siegerland), using strong words and providing the video a totally different spirit;
      e.g. in one episode they hunt the romulans because one of them crushed Worf's rocking horse;
      in another episode the captain is always pursued by the extremly gay "Q";

      the guys made this thing at home and just for fun but won a comedy trophy after it was spread through the net;

      That sounds great! Kind of along the lines of MST3000, one of my favorite shows!
