      Hypothetical situation

What would you do if you were the girl?
What would you do if you were the guy?

Bonnie and Clyde been in a commited relationship for awhile. Bonnie finds out Clyde has been e-mailing an old high school friend, Debbie. Clyde never mentioned to Debbie that he was in a relationship with Bonnie. Debbie is available, i.e. not in a relationship, and Clyde tells her that when he is in her town next time he will take her out to dinner. Debbie gives Clyde her phone number.

Bonnie finds out, she talks to Clyde about it and he says it is just about the class reunion. Bonnie asks Clyde why he never mentioned his relationship with her to Debbie, and he said it never came up.

      Input anybody?

I think it a question of trust

Whether the woman trusts the man enough, but the man should have been honest with both women, after all if U hide something, dont be suprised when others get upset when they find out

If i was the guy i would have told Bonnie about it & also asked her along, if i was the woman i would be distrustfull of the guy for not mentioning it

Well, Banzi, how does it feel to be the only man on here who can think?? I think you made some good points and assessed the situation well. You'd probably be good in a situation like that.

Well, Clyde should have been honest with both women if he aint nuthing to hide...As banzi said, it's a matter of trust. But i also fink that Bonnie's feelings are genuine and Clyde is only messin around with her. Y does he need a date while he already got 1? He wants to hav them both

      Shoot Clyde!
If he has nothing to hide,he should've told Bonnie about the email, and he should've told Debbie that he had a commitment with Bonnie.

      His intentions are clear....
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.....

Clyde is a bozo and does not deserve Bonnie.

You all seem to be pretty much of the same mind. Would you say the same thing if you were Clyde?

Are we seeing a parallel of David and Victoria here?

Perhaps Clyde should buy Bonnie a very expensive "guilt present" - mind you, if the size of present is proprional to what needs to be forgiven, a £1million diamond is pretty serious!

Is there a scale to these things?
Flowers + Chocolates for a forgotten anniversary, up to a £1million diamond for having an affair with the PA?

Good answer, and I know I would certainly accept the diamond, but without any real trust that it wouldn't happen again. But from this girl's point of view, I would accept without sceptacism if he worked on whatever the problem was that was causing him to cultivate more territory.
