Tracking downloads, tracking the downloader....

Recently I read I good post about Kazaalite downloads being tracked. WHere movie companies were tracking that persons IP number. My thought is why arent you surfing anonimously... Why dont you just get a software that will cloke your IP number by Proxy servers. then you will become anonimous when your online...... Here is one that shows how it works.

Not everything will cloke your real IP number if they want to find out who you are, but this really works and loads up evrytime I start my computer, and changed my Ip everytime. Just a thought

I thought unless you downloaded a lot of stuff they would not bother you any way.

Kazaa does not use http ports, so you cannot really use a proxy.

Never used KazaaLite-I use their excellent audio/video codecs though..

I don't use Kazaa or similar at all, to many bogus files, idiot users and security is awfull.
