      Angry GA-7VA Mobo 8x AGP fan Makes Vibrating Noise !!

      h**p://www.giga-byte.com/products/img/7va.jpg <== 8X AGP fan is making horrible vibrating noise .. loud as .. unbearable ... so I changed the fan thinking that was the prob ... hmm still making the noise ... anyone had same prob or know whether oks to remove Fan and only have heatsink ??

      No i had it too.
      gigabyte mobo too.
      It kept vibrating which was annoying me too.
      what was worse was that it kept stopping vibrating.
      In fact it just kept stopping full stop!

      I wouldnt remove the fan.
      Mobo manufacturers are not known for adding uneccessary fans.

      Check if the mobo mounting screws are bending the board slightly or something else is starting to cause the board to twist.

      GA 7VAXP and same fan noise here..i think it´s the chipset cooler
