Can't Get Any Gamepads to work on my Computer

I have tried installing many driver for many gamepad but none of them work except for the 4 button game pad driver.
Currently i am trying to find a 6 button game pad driver that works with XP.
I have also tried the usb and just a normal gameport but neither work.
      Please help me.

      Thx in Advance

I take it you've tryed configureing the joystick in your control panel m8. And for drivers i'd reckomend looking up the maker of the joypad on the net or go to driversguide and do a search.

Mr dead, i have already, before, tried your solution. But thx anyways

I have tried using thrustmaster propad 2 (or something like that, can't really remember well), gravis gamepad pro (usb), and currently trying the old propad 6 by interact.

I have also tried the 4 button gravis gamepad which work fine since it only has 4 buttons.

I think it might have something to do with my setup during the boot up!!!!!??????
