      Biostar introduces another nForce2 board

http://www.biostar.com.tw/products/m...ncg/index.php3 BIOSTAR MICROTECH INT'L CORP. launched its NVIDIAR nFORCE2® IGP platform processors motherboard for AMD Athlon™ XP, Athlon™ and Duron™ Processor. M7NCG owns the heart of NVIDIA nFORCE2 Integrated Graphics Processor "Crush 18G", which delivers the GeForce4 MX graphics and optimizes the video enjoyment to AGP 8X. With the DualDDR memory controller, this board nicely realizes the DualDDR 400 architecture to a 6.4GB/s bandwidth. Furthermore, the incorporated AMD HyperTransport™ enables 800 MB/s hi-speed bus between North and South bridges. The "MCP-T", on the other hand, features the Dolby® digital 5.1-channel to revolutionize your audio experience. In addition, IEEE 1394a, S/PDIF, USB2.0 and LAN are also included on this performance motherboard. Of course, BIOSTAR's proprietary [CPU Savior™], [FLASHER™] and [9th Touch™] technologies/benefits are also included. Moreover, our customers could enjoy the additional software bonus - Norton [AntiVirus] , [Ghost] and [Personal Firewall] at no other cost.

WITH the Graphics! - only ever seen Nforce2 without so far...

Though an onboard Geforce 4 MX is hardly earth-shattering in the world of performance graphics (and NEEDS the Dual-DDR to really shine), it's got to be the first onboard that could turn in a truly worthwhile performance. There was an ATI-based chipset - (Radeon 7000 onboard?) but reviews were not good!
