      new Motherboard

hello was after some thought on all the differant chips sets on go, is for socket A{AMD} so most new boards seem based on via kt400 or nforce
want this board to be kinda future proof since im after new xp cpu too

was thinking about one of these 2 boards

      Abit NF7-S nForce2 (Socket A) Motherboard (MB-028-AB)
      or
      Abit AT7-MAX2 (Socket A) Motherboard v2.0 (MB-023-AB)
      both seenfrom thispage

Neither to be honest, they are both good boards though.

      I'd go for this:- http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=43223

      or

      http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=40621

They have come out ahead of the Abit boards in tests I've read and from my personal experience I've found Asus boards to be pretty much the most reliable.

Another one very valuable mobo feat. nforce 2 and other goodies is Chaintech's 7njs . I have one and I am very happy....

Agree with Laz... the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe is considered top notch when it comes to Mobo's at this time. I have been considring getting one...but will wait until my ASUS A7V333 gets a litte bit older (only 5 months old!).

Excellent, stable AMD mobo with lots of features and a great price as many at Amdmb.com have claimed.

      I am so jealous!

As dxkim said, I too have only 6 months ago fitted a new Asus A7V333 RAID board too and just wish I could find an excuse to change right now, but I can't so the wife tells me!

In regards to the Asus A7N8X Deluxe I must agree. That will be my next MB purchase. Here is a link to a review I found useful.
