Hi Blane,
Do you know if i could use the Sony NV200 laptop here in the uk on our mains supply or would i have to get a diffrent power supply adaptor, also can i order one from the USA, or would i do better to wait to see if this model comes out here ?
Any help would be great.

The sony live sales help said that the adapter sold with the USA NV200 is dual voltage. But, they had no info on when the NV200 would start selling in the UK. You would have to ask the live sales help team at the Europe site for that answer.

All of Sony Vaio since Jan 2002 have both UK and Continental cable plugs, you just un screw the uk plug off and you have a continental plug now.(The reason I put since Jan 2002 I've been using Sony Vaio since then) Also you can pick this model upp in France.
