Action Replay Max

I have just purchased Action Replay Max, for the PS2, and all works fine until I go to launch the game, it then stops on the " Launching Game " screen.

At first I thought that perhaps it was a faulty disk, so I returned it to the store and they gave me a replacement, but the result was still the same.

I was attempting to launch an original PS2 game at the time. I tried it with a backup game, and still the same result. My pS2 has been chipped, and has the DMS3 chip fitted .. is this the reason that AR Max will not work ??

I have tried Xploder, and that works fine on both originals and backups.

Any help would be much appreciated
