got a recent thumbs down in the alt.comp.freeware newsgroup, for being rather TOO free with it's registry entries and unwanted adjustments.

It sounds possible that the rather brutal install of this VB5 program might break some VB6 programs.


PIXIA may be a better example, can be a little quirky though - but a lot more familiar to Windows users than "The GIMP"
