      Win XP Won’t Completely Shutdown
      Goto> Control Panel> Power Options.
      - Click on the APM Tab, then check the "Enable Advanced Power Management support."
      - Shut down your PC. It should now successfully complete the Shut Down process. I`ve tyed, but cant seem to find APM tab! I`m using win xp professional(2600)Any idea anyone?????

I know what you mean bud.The APM tab is gone on my system since the fix.I gave you a site with alternative steps/fixes.Also check on the advanced tab, make sure shutdown is showing in the window.Your motherboard might not support APM(not sure on that).

LOL!!! Good, glad you figured it out.I think Xp should have been shipped with a troubleshooting manual.
