Actually dunno yet ! Just got a new comp, a 2ghz Pentium4 at Aldi. Having a little bother as I put in a another HD and another network card to go with the one on board. But problem is the HD doesnt come up and the Sony 24x just keeps opening its tray and WON'T STOP !!! I have tried different jumper and Master/slave settingsb without luck. I may have to try auto-detection for all drives and see if that works.

Strange, I had heard (and read) that the 24x was a liteon too)

Actually rigged it up again to find out - it's an A1. (The draw keeps coming out, and I've been on to Medion and they're sending someone out with a new one to fit in, and I'm delighted !)

No, its a re-badged MSI. (The board has the comp makers name on it - Medion, but it is an MSI MS6513, as is the graphics card, comp makers name on it and SiSoft Sandra says its an MSI card)

There are updates for the board on the Medion homepage, i was just wondering if MSI stuff would work too, like Live Bios and the other good stuff.
