avi to dvd ps2
hi i want to burn some avi movies to dvd to play in my ps2 have nero 6 and dvd burner , and have converted avi to mpeg 2 and burnt to dvd but still wont play on ps 2, can any one help.

How did you convert the avi to DVD, what did you burn it with (and how) and have you tried other Media ?

avi to dvd
hi , used winmpg video convert to convert to mpeg 2 , then burned as data file in nero 6 using mat****a dvd ram uj 8-10 and burnt on to tdk dvd- re recordable. "but in the whole process never saw any vob files ? "

WinMPG has only converted it to an MPG for you, it need to be authored which then creates a VIDEO_TS folder full of VOB, IFO & BUP files. You then burn this VIDEO_TS and an empty AUDIO_TS folder with Nero in UDF/ISO mode.
You can use DVDLab, TMPGEnc DVD Author, etc to author the files for ya.

cheers ,convert avi to m peg using tmpge nc plus 2.5, but tmpg dvd auther wont open file said dll file missing converted it to correct size 720x576 , can you help thanks nick
