dvd cd-r
if anyone is interested i have made loads of dvd movies on my cd-r
and then i take them in the lounge and put them in my bog standard alba dvd player and they all work perfect and completly fill the screen on my tv which is better than most of the 15 quid jobs no letter box format on these anyway why would i want to watch them through a letter box im not a postman. dont know how it works i use nero to burn them and when i play them in the alba i switch off the PDC on the remote control (dont know what that is)but it works great SHEDMAN

PDC= program delivery control if im not mistaken !?
 perhaps turning off you PDC also turns off the widescreen on your particular player
