      Games & CD Protection DB

Just thought it would be handy to have a browsable section for games listsing and the cd protections used for each 'region version' in alphabetical order and maybe date of release order.
      with a search feature.

Of course it would be too much to list every game ever made since the introduction of cd protections. Maybe listing of games since 2001.

I know woody kept a small list *somewhere* - i dunno where it is now.

      Just a thought.

Shadey,I have an Sd2 game list in the News and Info section.Since Clony discovers the protections it is easier to use it,and more accurate.Anyways,Game copyworld and Megames both have listings,as well as the Clone database.

I think Clony is the best bet because protections vary from region to region.

I have a little query about clony. Is securom new the only protection it cant actually detect after scanning (so far, excluding sdv2.5) but can only suggest it may be.

I have not encountered any other protections except safedisk (1 &2) and securom (old & new), so im not sure if other protections can be detected simply by scanning the cd.

Yep,Clony has a "bug"in it.Unknown,Securom and "new"Securom alll have the same settings. This is correct though, because Securom, and Securom"new" use the same settings.I think it will be adressed in the new Clony when it is released in the English version.
