I tried different disc(TDK,HP,memo) still the same result.

      I'm using
      sony vio P4, 512 ram,

Update your Nero to the latest version, and then enable DMA for your devices and harddisk....except the Pioneer burner, most of them are running in PIO mode, wich causes the slow burn and the extremely high memory usage when you're burning....
Hardware-->device manager-->ide ata/atapi controllers, then check the properties of both channels to enable DMA

You have also the Prassi PXHELP20.SYS driver on your system, which doesn't work well together with Nero....
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.....

The Adapter configuration looks rather odd, is something running on a controller card, or on a Raid controller port on the motherboard?

      CdRomPeripheral : PIONEER DVD-ROM DVD-117R atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: On
      CdRomPeripheral : HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8160B atapi Port 1 ID 1 DMA: Off

Turn DMA on for primary slave as well... That thing alone can handicap the primary master performance. The Hitachi/Lucky Goldstar 8160 does support UDMA2, so switching shouldn't be a problem.

thanks evey one for the quik reply.
sorry I forgot to say that my poineer connect to the PC through USB2 external box(if this makes any difference).
-I update my nero to 6.6.0.6.
-I have tried to enable DMA..it says
      Primary IDE
      device 0
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
      current transfer mode: PIO.
      device1:
      device type:autodetection
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
      current transfer mode:not applicable

      Secondary IDE

      Transfer mode: DMA if available
current transfer mode: ultra DMA node2.
      device1:
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
      current transfer mode: Pio

-What do you suggest I do with the prassi drivers ?

thanks again for the help and it's very apprecaited

Check the read transfer rate in Cdspeed, if that's slow as well, then there could be a problem with the USB2 drivers.

If it's not getting the hard drive into DMA mode, that could be a problem - not sure which chipset that machine is, but updating the chipset/IDE drivers if possible may resolve it.

DMA is IMPORTANT to get your system working at it's full speed
If you can't enable the DMA settings for your drives, try this:

      Open RegEdit
      Find the following KEY:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\ Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\000x

The last four digits will be 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003, and so on.
Under each key, delete all occurences of the following values:

      MasterIdDataChecksum
      SlaveIdDataChecksum

Reboot the computer. Windows will now redetect DMA settings.....
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.....

I did the RegEdit changes, and this the results
      Primary IDE
      device 0
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
current transfer mode: ultra DMA mode 5.
      device1:
      device type:autodetection
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
      current transfer mode:not applicable

      Secondary IDE
      device 0
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
current transfer mode: ultra DMA mode2.
      device1:
      Transfer mode: DMA if available
current transfer mode: Multi-word DMA Mode 2

Nero reports the Pioneer CD-ROM as secondary Master, and the Hitachi/LG as secondary slave... no hint of USB drives (which are reported as SCSI). The Daemon Tools virtual drive shouldn't normally be an issue.
Suggesting trying something else than Nero- it isan't difficult at all finding a better burning application.

Your DMA settings are OK now
Your RAM load dropped from 94% to 60%,so this is OK too..

      A question:

do you have any windows servicepack installed?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.....

-is it important to remove Prassi drivers and how to do it?

      Dear Duracell:

I'd suggest Prassi ONES, which takes less than 5MB on harddisk when installed, and can burn anything (exclude bootable CD's and DVD's). It can burn with ANY burner, as it does not use any device driver (it communicates directly with the burner firmware).
The old pxengine Prassi driver does not conflict normally with many burning apps (Nero 6 is at some cases an excheption), removing it if there's a problem is as simple as deleting the .sys and .dll files with the string "px" from /windows/system32/drivers and then running Ahead's cleaning pack.
