      This is interesting.......

      Hi,

My MSI DRA4 is actually a re-badged Sanyo CRD-BPDV2 OEM drive. Is that good? So far it burns well, provided I use decent blanks. At the time I had the choice of the ASUS DRW 0402P-D which is a re-badged Pioneer 106.

Whats the general concensus of opinion on Sanyo drives? Good, bad or indifferent?

      Cheers,

      Spk.

I have to agree with poacher but in the future if you do have a problem you can check to see if they came out with a flash to make it a Sanyo at http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php. But I would wait for it to come out of warranty first.
