      pioneer firmware

      Anyone know if the new firmware for the DVR-106 is ok ?
      I believe its firmware version 1.07

      I dont want to upgrade untill i know the difference between firmware 1.06 + 1.07

      Search this forum for the 106 firmware with RPC1+2x+12x patches... Mine works great; now I can burn to all media rated at 2x whether Pioneer thinks so or not. And can read pressed DVDs at 12x instead of 2x.
