Help with DVD Copying

Hi

I'm new to all this. AND South Africa's about light years behind it all.
Could anyone help me with how to copy a DVD Movie. If it's possible to copy direct (CD to CD).
What software I should use.
I have a panasonic LF-D521 DVD Recorder.
In my Device Manager it comes up as a Mat****a DVD-Ram LF-D521.
Does anyone know if there's firmware available for it?

I tried using DvD Xpress Copy and it reads the disc partly and then gives errors.

hi you didnt say if you were using a seperate normal dvd drive to read the disk. if not try this .
