      Question Oem or Retail ???

Can anyone give me advise on buying Oem or retail Burner Whats the pros or cons

      Cons
The OEM has limited or no manual.
It will probably have no cables or screws.
It will have little if any software.

The Pros are it is cheaper, you may have the knowledge to change the burner without help....its probably the easiest upgrade u can do.
You probably will reuse your old cable or have a spare plug on it.
      You probably already have software.

In some countries/nations you will have limited warranty for oem-drives.

As far as I know in the UK...all new products have a minimum 1 year warranty.

As Dave says, oem and retail have exactly the same warranty in the UK, oem drives are just bare drives, you get nothing with them.

If you already have the software you save a fair bit of money.
