After Update to 1.33 of the PIONEER A-105 I´m not able to erase the medium with NERO 6.0 and Windows XP; now I would "downgrade" the drive to 1.30; but it doesn´t work and the hotline in Germany was not very helpful.

Your problem might be Nero.I haven't heard of this effect before.Maybe upgrading/downgrading Nero,or another program might do it.Flashing to an official Pioneer firmware should still work too.
note here the older firmware links are dead now woody
i checked them
only the DVR-105 v1.33 - RPC-1 + 2xDVD-R + 12xRip is a valid download![]()
Definetly like Woody said your problem is Nero version, I have a working A05 with hacked firmware 1.33 and everything is working great, my Nero version is 5.5.10.20 and I´m going to stay in that version for a while until I find a reason to change or complaints about new Nero versions stop.Originally Posted by guest

if anyone finds a mirror for the older firmware let me know thanks![]()
Have you checked the firmware page?

If you can´t find it then let me know, I have both versions (1.30 & 1.33) stored somewhere and could send it to you.
