Help with getting A03 to burn at 2x

I have tried a few different FWs with my writer and on one managed to get Datawrite 2x Grey Top to write at 2x but now can't. I have tried lots FWs but can anyone suggest one to use? I have 1.90 at the moment.

I am using Prassi Primo 2.0.749 and Nero 5.5.10.15

The discs I am trying to burn at 2x are:

Datawrite 2x Grey Top
Datawrite 1x Yellow Top
Datasafe 1x Blue Top

After doing a search on the site it looks like all these discs can burn at 2x OK.

All discs burn at 1x with Nero but not with Prassi.

I am getting a bit fed up with my writer taking an hour to burn.

DVD-R using 2x burning can be done, by update the firmware.
