      Question Pioneer A05 Vs Pioneer 105

      I Was Thinking about getting a Pionneer A05 DVD-R But Iv Came Across A Pioneer-105 Are These The Same?

      Yes m8 they are the same drive.The 105 is the oem version and the A05 is the retail thats all.

      Yes exactly the same. I've bought an AO5 and it says in hardware settings it's a I05. We dont yet have the option for the I05 (OEM) version in Australia but if you dont want legit software and the price is cheaper get the I05.

      The A05 comes in a box with some DVD's and software, the 105 comes in a plastic bag with one disk. Absolutely identical units. My A05 in the firmware says its a 105.

      Boondi, yes the 105 is availble in Australia, I bought one for a friend a few weeks back, about $50 cheaper than the A05. It came from www.cpl.net.au
