This is supposed to be a disc that automatically upgrades, among others, the Panasonic DVD-A300 to be multi-zone and macrovision disabled, w/o any mod chips or physical modifications. Sounds fantastic to me but they sell it for around $350 which is way too much to purchase... I guess they do it b/c with that disc you supposedly can start a shop and 'convert' as many players as you wish... well - that's not my goal in life. I just want to region-free my own player and would appreciate anyone that has that disc or a CD-R version of it which I can burn as a DVD-R myself.

ps - there are v1 and v2 and I don't really care. Both are great.

If you don't have that DVDR - can you recommend a good mod chip for the A300 and a good place to buy it with decent prices (sub $30)
