I want to buy a dvd-burner,
my eye is fall on 2 drives.
The Sony DRU 500A or the Toshiba SD-R5002.
In all the forums i read the sony have problems with the firmware.
But is the best drive you can buy.
The Toshiba is better in protected cd's.
difficult decision.
Have anyone experience with the Toshiba.
And what is your advice wich drive i must buy

No advice on The Toshiba.Try checking the writers section at www.vcdhelp.com The Sony is now able to write to inferior media(a big issue before).It looks like the best one at the moment.Pioneer A05 is restricted to media issues currently also,only a handful of media work with it.

If you wait a bit,you could receive the Sony with the new firmware already installed from the factory.It does seem the flashing problem was resolved.Look for a post by Roadworker on this writer.He has one. Or just Pm him.
