Nice review of this new SONY DVD Recorder here ----->http://www.cdrlabs.com/reviews/index.php?reviewid=154
I like the fact that it does both of the DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW formats and it write the cheaper DVD-R media @ 4X with buffer protection.
The drive is not available locally yet!
BUT I am seriously considering getting one when they become available.
The big question is....being a SONY product....will it be able to duplicate PS2 games? Or have SONY made a product that somehow will not copy PS2 discs? I have a PS2 with a messiah chip so it is able to play back-up dvd-r games.
Also does all the other dvd writing software even support this drive....like DVD-Cloner, Prassi PrimoDVD, Stomp RecordNow Max, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated because if doesn't do, want I want it to do.....I'll rather buy a slower more flexible DVD-R drive.
