      Wink crap dvd media

Would appreciate any info on decent dvd media for ps2 backup.
at the moment stuck with disc planet.
the usual story is that with some cheap media the ps2 wont boot because it finds the media difficult to read.
or the game wont play after a certain amount of time.
fed up wasting money on crap.
so any info on decent media would be greatly appreciated
