      DVDREasy 0.8.1 (extremely BETA !!!)

      Hi to all,

DVDREasy 0.8.1 (BETA !!!) is ready:
      ------------------------------
      - The source can now be a movie in DVD or an allready ripped movie in HD
      - analyse the vob files to get audio/video file sizes
      - inform the user of % of video compression needed
      - let user choose between Quality Mode (Re-encoding) and Speed Mode (transcoding)
      - Re-author method is much faster

      Note:
      -----
Everytime that source is DVD movie, decrypter will fire up for a few seconds just to Authenticade DVD. (I donīt like this aprouch, but it was the only way credible that I found. I played around with AUTHDVD.DLL by NIC but is very buggy and cause a lot of system craches) I will change this as soon I figure out other way. So, when DVDDecrypter fire to authenticate DVD please donīt close it, otherwise DVDREasy will close/Crash/hung...

This is an update release. You must have DVDREasy 0.7.2 installed.

If you want to preserve the latest oficial version (0.7.2) please rename, in DVDREasy program dir, the file DVDREasy.EXE to DVDREasy_072.exe and then install 0.8.1 BETA !

      INSTALL :
      ----------
Extract the ZIP file into DVDREasy prog directory (ex c:\program Files\dvdreasy)
Make sure you choose "OVERWRITE EXISTING FILES" and "USE FOLDER NAMES" in WinZip.

      Here is the file :
      ---------------

      Hi there,

If you donīt want to work with DVDDecrypter just RIP the DVD to your HD with your favorite ripper (DVDFAB, ANYDVD,etc) and then use DVDREasy to do the conversion process.

Yes, you have to install DECRYPTER for dvdreasy to work. But, dvdreasy will only use it if you choose the SOURCE as DVD.

If you rip the dvd to your HD with other ripper and then use DVDREasy to do the conversion process (source is movie allready ripped in HD) dvdreasy will not use decrypter.

      Got it ?

Im really really really sorry dvdreasy, I just dont find your prog easy at all!!!!

I tried to get it all to work months ago and never had any success!

Ive tried again and also had NO SUCCESS!
I dont know if Im stupid or not but it seems every complex to just get it to do the basic startup!

I have Clonedvd, Shrink, Recode2 and all of them are so easy to setup and run. dvdeasy is really impossible for me to setup and even start to test it??? God know why

      Hi Juan Carlos,

I will need your "Great Spanish Translation" when this beta become official.

I'm wainting for feedback on this beta release . . .

      Cheers

After three backups, I have to say that I like the improvements added to this beta. The combo DVDFab Decrypter + DVDREasy 0.8.1 worked flawlessly. However, I only tried the High quality mode: for transcoding, I still love DVD Shrink.

P.S. Will you support latest HC Encoder (0.18.0.0 at the present time)?
      Pardon me for not standing.

What does transcoding actually do then? I take it uses HC/CCE encoder, but it is just a one-pass mode or is it true 20min transcoding as CloneDVD does etc?

      Re-encoding uses HC or CCE
      Transcoding uses REJIG

      Cheers,

      DVDREasy
