      DVDReasy tries to reinstall itself?

Wierd...noticed this last couple times I used it. I inserted my disc to backup, clicked the icon for my installed copy of DVDReasy, and it starts preparing to do a new installation of itself! Once I exit out of the install prompts, the normal GUI appears, I can continue on from there.
But what the heck is causing that ?

      HI CBC,

      That is very strange.

This never happened to me and I don´t have any report on this kind of problem. After I saw your post I performed 2 installations of the last DVDREasy release in 2 differents PC's and all went well and work right.

I guess it must be something in your system . . .

      Cheers

@ cbc:any chance that you played around with a regcleaner recently?
If you reinstall DVDREasy on top of the present version, this problem should be gone...
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.....

      Ah so!
I used Registry Mechanic in the last day or so. I'll try the reinstall tonight.
Any idea what's getting munged up so maybe it can be prevented in the future?
I like to clean out some of the registry junk once in a while, as I'm sure others do. Thank you for the tip!

By the way , my problem wasn't with the initial install of DVDReasy, but afterwards when it had already been sucessfully installed & used that this happened. Weird is right!
