      New Version of DVDREasy

Here is latest version of DVDREasy - 0.7.2

      Changes 0.7.2 :
      ---------------
      - In AUTOMATIC IFO SELECTION, DVDREasy now checks for the contens of DVD. If it's smaller than 4.7 GB, you now have 3 choices:
..........Continue Conversion - The same as before
..........Create ISO Image - DVDDECRYPTER will create an ISO Image
..........Clone DVD - DVDDECRYPTER will create ISO Image and Burn it

      Changes 0.7.1 :
      ---------------
      - Correct "run time error 5" that sometimes occurred when a second audio was chosen
      - DGMPEGDEC (DGINDEX.EXE and DGDECODE.DLL) will be use instead of DVD2AVI
      - Add the possibility to use custom AVISYNTH script for CCE and HC
      - HC binary update to 0.15 beta
      - Code Optimization

      Changes 0.6.9 :
      ---------------
      - DVDREasy now support choosing up to 2 AUDIOS and 2 SUBTITLES.
      - Multilanguage support. Available languages : English, Spanish and Portuguese

      Changes 0.6.5 :
      ---------------
-Corrections in IFO parsing. In some DVD’s, mostly in Collectors Edition, have 2 subtitles for the same language [Wide] and [letterbox] and DVDREasy was parsing incorrectly.
      - Automatic main-movie IFO selection. Just point the DVD-ROM/RW or Virtual DVD where you have the movie and DVDREasy automatically selects the right IFO.

      Changes 0.6.3 :
      ---------------
      - Added One Pass Variant Bitrate for HC (beta stage !!!)
      - HC binary update to 0.14 beta

      Changes 0.6.2 :
      ---------------
      - BITRATE VIEWER is not used anymore.
      - Correction in IFO parsing (in extremely rare situations DVDREasy detected wrong movie time)
      - Corrected "dc_prec" setting for HC in DVDREasy.ini
      - Added One Pass Variant Bitrate for CCE (beta stage !!!)

Thanks to hank315 who developed MPEGinfo -a small tool to get information from mpeg stream (m2v, mpeg and vobs). From now on, DVDREasy will use MPEGinfo instead of BITRATE VIEWER.

      Changes 0.5.8 :
      ---------------
      - Correct "run time error 5" during the Muxman authoring process.
      - Correct "run time error 384" when conversion is finished and DVDREasy is minimized
      - Correct "run time error 5" when only re-author is needed

      Changes 0.5.7 :
      ---------------
      - DVDREasy checks for CCE version only if CCE was the encoder chosed

      Changes 0.5.6 :
      ---------------
      - Added support for HC Encoder
      - MUXMAN binary update to 0.13h

UPDATE (you must have DVDREasy 0.7.1 installed) :
      ---------------------------------------------------------
Download the file, unzip it to DVDREasy folder (ex: c:\program files\dvdreasy) and make sure that you checked "Overwrite Existing Files" and "Use folder Names" in winzip

      Thumbs up

      THX for the HCEnc support;m8!!!
Great work! There's a bright future for that freeware encoder and I'm glad that DVDREasy supports it,now your great program can run as complete freeware package!!
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.....

Finished my 1st conversion with HCEnc as encoder......4.40 h total conversion time on a 6.9 GB movie with a 2.15 h main movie....Not bad, especially since DVDREasy uses the "best" quality as default setting...
Awesome picture...hard to believe that a freeware encoder can reach the quality level of CCE.....
BTW,version 0.14 of HCEnc is out....

Yes, I know . . . soon will be a new DVDREasy release that support that version.

In fact, it is possible, right now, to use the new release of HCEnc with DVDREasy

You only have to put "HCbatch_014.exe" in HCenc directory of DVDREasy (ex: c:\program files\dvdreasy\hcenc) and rename the file to "HCbatch.exe". My advice is that you do the same with "HCGUI_014.exe" -> "HCGUI.exe". This way you will have both GUI and BATCH in the same version.

Of course, if there are new settings to play with, DVDREasy doesn´t know them and they will not be used.

      Cool!
Gonna try.....btw,isn't there also a "one pas vbr" for HCEnc like for CCE?

Hmmm. I think I should try DVDREasy... If roadworker is recommending it, I'm sure it will be very good.
      Pardon me for not standing.

LOL.... ..in this case it's true, buddy
One of the best movie-only apps available!

No WinAvi's or Nero's come even close to it.....

I only use DVD Decrypter + DVD Shrink 3.2 (in mode "Main Movie Only"). DVD Shrink is so simple, even for assholes like me, but enough powerful. The picture quality is very good... for my ultracrappy TV. Did you any comparison between DVDREasy and DVD Shrink?
      Pardon me for not standing.

No buddy,I didn't.....I used Shrink in the past, but if it's still the same engine as Nero Recode, you won't squeeze out more than 70% picture quality for main movies bigger than 5.5 GB.......

I see. Just tried DVDREasy 0.5.6, but I can't use it properly: no enough space. I have about 30 GB free... in three different partitions. So I can back up any DVD using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, using the three partitions (ISO source image, ISO destination image and temporal drive), but DVDREasy allows only one... Or am I doing something wrong?

Maybe in the near future, when I have a bigger HD (or when I clean out all the **** that stuffs my 2 HD)...
      Pardon me for not standing.

For using DVDREasy you need about 17-20 GB free on ONE single partition

Thanks for clearing it out! So I was right: I have to wait for more space...

for a quick solution can you not use partition magic to join 2 partitions back together !?

or would that be problematic for you !?
