      New Beta Release

      Hi,

I have DVDREasy 0.2.0 (beta) ready for testing.

      - It runs in windows 9x/ME/2000/XP
      - Some improvements in the conversion proccess
      - Only execute PULLDOWN if movie is NTSC and FrameRate is 23.976

I will need some feedback, before puting this release on-line in DVDREasy Web Site. Specialy in windows 9x/ME version.

      How to Install:
      - Download DVDREasy 0.0.5 from http://pwp.netcabo.pt/dvdreasy
      - Download this ZIP file.
      - Put DVDREASY.EXE in prog directory (ex: c:\program files\dvdreasy)
      - Put VOBSUB9X.DLL in prog directory\subtitles (ex: c:\program files\dvdreasy\subtitles)

      Here is the file

Should the new VOBSUB9X.DLL replace the old VOBSUB.DLL in the subtitles folder?

Well I just added it to the folder, left whatever was in there originally.

Still no joy on getting the program to work. Gets to the point where it goes to CCE (2.50), for some reason nothing seems to be passed along. The standard template pops up and the encoding box says 'no name' and everything just stops at this point. Any thoughts? Rebuilder is working fine.

      XP Pro, sp1, NTSC

No, the new VOBSUB9X.DLL is to be placed in the same directory (/subtitles).
      you need to have both files (VOBSUB.DLL - windows 2000/XP, VOBSUB9X - windows 9x/ME)

Itīs very strange whats happening with your system.
nobody else report that kind of error.

Did you tried always with the same movie ? Could you try with another movie ?

could you please send me your DVDREASY.INI, VSETTINGS.TXT and a PRINTSCREEN with all the files in your working folder ?

I really would like to help you, but I donīt see why DVDREasy stop at that point.

Are you sure your linking to the CCE executable cctsp.exe and that you not using eclcce.exe, as ReBuilder requires ?

Well still no joy with the new version and another movie. Still hangs right where it gets to the CCE part. Have included an attachment that hopefully will shed some light on the problem.

XP Pro, sr1, AMD 2600, NTSC.

      Hi MysticE,

I think I found the problem.

You "movie.ecl" is not right. I think you are using a new version of CCE.
For now, DVDREasy ONLY works with CCE 2.5 !!!
Are you sure you are using CCE 2.5 ?

Please chek it and let me know.

      Cheers,

      DVDREasy

I've noticed in the past if I click on the ecl, it came up with a wrong type of error and that it's contents looked different than those created by Rebuilder.

I'm using CCE SP Version 250.01.00.

You supplied version 1.7a of Eclcce which is the same version that I installed for use with DVD Rebuilder in it's folder. Rebuilder works for me. I also have version 1.7b installed in DVD2DVD-R 1.81's folder, which also works for me (that program is much more clumsy to use than yours and I get chapter stop problems in one of my standalones though, but it does complete the job).

Do you think having multiple instances and versions in various locations could be the problem? Should I get the latest version of EclCCE, 1.81?

      Stumped to say the least

      Regards,
      ME

I found having different versions in different places stuffed up my use of eclcce when using ReBuilder. So 1 copy in my CCE folder and now no probs. I think it is 1.81

So you are saying you just have one copy now of EclCCe in the same folder as CCE and nowhere else?
