I donīt know the exact differences between them 2 ... Dvd Fusion supports more file types ... (MP3, Wave, JPG aso)
It is also easier to create menus ...
a tutorial is included in PDF format ...

hmm DVD it ... sorry mate ..I donīt use it ... so I donīt know ...

hmm.. I donīt think that FUSION is able to import DTS ... but maybe it was my fault ... it displays no decoder available for this format...

I think dvd producer is actually dvd fusion for windows, Sonic just change their name a bit. As in their website, it supports motion menu and ac3 5.1

Will Ulead DVD Workshop let me import already converted Dolby (AC3) files? Don't need it to convert them....just add them. ???

No John, it is not supported AC3 files at the moment .. and before it actually burns your DVD, Ulead DVD Workshop usually try to encode your movie into their format which takes a bit of times, but then you can make a very cool Motion Menu, background, thumb nail ..

      Cool

Ulead's new DVD Workshop eddition includes ac3 support.

Vitec DVD tool box, also has ac3 support, as well as ifoEdit

One can multiplex mpeg2 and ac3 into Vob using
      Scenarist, Vitec, and iFoEdit.

      IfoEdit can create the image.

      I am guessing that:
Menues, sometimes, could be added from original DVD, if new VTS_XX.vobs were renemed to match originals.
