      dvd-r/rw or dvd+r/rw

I just managed to persuade the missus to let me have a dvd burner

Anyway the problem is which format will work in my dvd player under the tv, in my ps2 and in my liteon dvd drive.

also which model will backup my ps2 games without the need for patches

      Thanx in advance
