There is NO requirment for an AUDIO_TS folder on a DVD_Video disk, however, most transcoders and encoders tend to create an empty AUDIO_TS folder for some reason as well. Reports are on the net that some old DVD players would not play a DVD unless there is an Audio_ts folder, yet my exhaustive search has come up with ZERO, not one reported actual case to verify this. Then the rest of the sheep community will say its easy to add it in so why not add it. Its really up to you, but there is absolutely no need for it to be on a DVD_Video disk. It will do no harm being there also.
