dvd+r standalone player

hi all my prob is i have a dvd+r standalone player but i cant find anywhere i can buy dvd+r disk. i can buy dvd+rw disk no problem
and iam fed up buying dvd+rw disk so i can burn dvd movies.when all i need is a dvd+r disk i use my sony dvd 725D player as the source for rented dvds and use my phillips 980 standalone player for the recording.but as i said iam fed up buying dvd+rw disks when all i need is dvd+r disk. so any help most appreciated.TAM
