I've heard from 2 different sources that if your dvd player won't play cd-r's/dvd-r's you can enter a code on your machine and it will enable it?????
A guy I know does wedding videos,he has a standalone dvd recorder. Some people told him the dvd's don't work on their player, he rang Phillips and they gave him a code to put in and they now work.
Another guy's daughter got a code from her retailer!
All we need now is the code!!! Seems to be elusive though.
Has anyone else heard this?

Cheers mate, I was there earlier but no joy.
One of the guys I was talking to has a Sony that didn't play cdr's, but after the "code" it did!!!
I found this really odd as I thought it was something to do with how the laser was set up, not a software thing. I'll see the guy tomorrow, so I'll ask him for the code.
If I get a code and it works, I'll post it on here......could be the end of all our problems hehe
Yep!
Its good to share!!
