      Question Ps2 Backups

      Help !
I have tried to backup Metal Gear Solid 2 and final Fantasy Using Nero, Prassi and B`Recorder Gold on DVD-r disks at 1x recording speed. There all copy fine, but don`t boot up on my PS2 which has an Neo 2.2 chip instlled and the Action Replay v2. I can boot up ripped ps2 games but not Dvd-r .

      Any help would be appreciated

      Talking Ricoh mp5125a dvd+rw/+r

I have a Ricoh mp5125a dvd+rw/+r burner and have no problems burning PS2 games, i even use the dvd+rw discs with no problem and some even boot as if they were the original game.

dark problem with copying ps2 dvd

dark when i copy a dvd on a DVD+r with primo the dvd can not be read but when i look the structure of the dvd

it makes 2 zones 1 with the copied part and the second that is free

when i copy the dvd om a DVD+rw its good with 1 zone

have you any idea how this is possible, maybe a setting in primo

the problem is my ps2 can't read DVD+RW

creator i have never used dvd+r i have a pioneer a03 and it uses dvdr but it sounds like ur burner isnt closeing the disc with ur dvd+r. Hmm try making a global image to ur hd then try a test burn see if it says it is burning zone 1 and zone 2

Use this little guide and it MOST boot...

Load AR2 V2 keeping Resetbutton pressed
      - Select Action Replay Codes
      - highlight Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX2 Code
      - press START
      - press EJECT and insert Original-TOC-DVD
      - wait 10 Seconds
      - now press 'X' on with Codes and 'X' once again
      - Error-Message appears: 'Too many Codes'
      - original TOC DVD stops spinning (thx, Datel *g*)
      - now perform EA Trick (release Reset-Button) & insert DVDR Backup
      - press 'X' to confirm Error-Message
      - now press Circle twice to enter Mainmenu again
      - START GAME, without Codes, press 'X'
      - Codes are getting actualised
      - DVDR boots
      Rips and Burn's it all...;-)
