please can sombody suggest something.(apart from hammer)
i'm completly new too dvd scene just started doing home movies
and when i went too save to dvd.
i place dvd-r into drive and it said it was a cd drive
when i take out dvd it turns it says its a dvd-r drive
in device manager its a necdvd_rw nd-3500ag.
dont know if this helps but it only happens on blank dvds i have tryed both - and+ r
but same thing happens i can howevery save on cdrs

yes thats what it looks like then its says it has a dvd-r but says its cdrom
do you know why as i cannot work it out
but i'm not to clever on dvds at minute
It's normal a bug in XP. Your will still can burn so don't worry about it. Every pc does it.![]()
no its a disc with dvd-r then next too it cd drive
i get error message f:\is not accesible. in correct function
i was wondering if it could be my driver. but i do not have original instalation disc do you know were i can download the driver

You do know that you can't just read a blank disc with windows? You need a program like Nero CD-DVD Speed to tell you about the disc.Originally Posted by heidi1
